I had a dream I was in my childhood home. I was my age in present time with my younger sister. We were just relaxing and people started hanging around outside the house. And started trying to break in. We defended the house with whatever we had in self defense. We held the front line from the front of the the house for a majority part of the dream. We lost part of the house we were defending and moved towards the back of the house still defending. We had to push to the backyard and eventually had to find a way to leave that house. We were still fighting defending ourselves in the backyard and it seemed like the intruders never stopped coming. I have had similar dreams in the same house with the same theme before atleast twice. Father not home, wife and daughters are. Intruders enter the large home with intention to kill so the women run around and lock themselves outside the house. I see an opportunity to pick the kitchen knife and stab each of the 3 intruders to death and throw them out the window. There is a sort of celebration afterwards by faces unfamiliar to the household but some seem influential. After a while, I tell them all to leave.

I was at home w my daughters. There were riots going on outside so I told them to stay inside w me. We heard a noise so we went into the bedroom & I grabbed my gun. The intruder came into the bedroom & had one of my daughters hostage. I got one shot off but missed them both & she got free. Then my gun jammed. I wrestled him to the ground & he grabbed a pocket knife out of his sock & stabbed me in the leg. I grabbed his gun & shot him twice. I woke up before he died.
