Tahir FirasahA fish out of water is a dream of severed fortune and disconnected life. The name itself implies a life force that has been removed from its source of sustenance. This dream marks a transition where the means of provision no longer match the environment of the dreamer.
A sudden movement from the depths indicates a rupture in the natural flow of livelihood. The departure from the element of life brings a state of being where the ability to thrive is lost. A fish out of water remains a sign of a struggle for survival in an inhospitable place.
The act of jumping out of the water brings a suddenness to the loss of fortune. Such motion suggests that the separation from life’s ease is abrupt rather than gradual. A big fish jumping out of water intensifies this effect by making the disruption of the natural order more visible.
The presence of a big fish increases the scale of the disconnected provision. Such a size makes the loss of the life source more substantial and harder to ignore.
Stepping away from a tank signifies a renunciation of a heavy and unbending rule. Such an exit reveals that the life force has chosen to leave a structure defined by its harsh and unyielding power.
